Description

The Maverick replaced the Falcon as Americas compact car and was built from 1969-77. The Maverick's styling featured the long hood, fastback roof and short deck popularized by the Mustang, originally only available as a 2 door, but a 4 door was introduced in 1971. Mercury had a similar car called the Comet. The muscle car-themed Grabber trim package was introduced in mid-1970. The package included special graphics and trim, including a spoiler Engines; 170, 200, 250 cu in 6s or 302 V8
