Australian built Morris Marina Sedan. In 1973 the Australian Marina was renamed to Leyland Marina, given a facelift and offered with a 2620cc six cylinder engine option. The Marinas were built in England from 1971-80, Australia 1972-75. With the British Leyland cars of this time, the Austins were front wheel drive cars and the Morris was rear wheel drive. Available in 1.3, 1.8 or twin carb TC 1.8 Also built by Leyland Australia from CKD kits from the UK, running gear was upgraded for the harsher conditions and a 6 cyl was also available. Available in Sedan & Coupe in Australia Engines; 1500 and 1750 4 cyl or 2600 6 cyl |
