11 A Coral Sitar, an instrument produced from 1967 to 1969. John and George were given two of the first Coral Sitars made by Danelectro in 1967. No one knows though, whether George used this electric sitar-guitar on any of the group's recordings. The one displayed here is identical to those owned by John and George — and dates from the same era. Jean-Louis Vaillancourt Collection[1] 12 This 1974 guitar is an exact replica of the extremely rare 1968 Fender VI bass guitar that George and John had started using when Paul played piano or guitar. The strings were tuned an octave below a regular guitars. Jean-Louis Vaillancourt Collection[1] |
