| Description | The story goes, Ford Australia apparently didn't have the capacity to build the Cortina wagon at it's own plant in Melbourne and so subcontracted the work out to Renault Australia, who also had a manufacturing plant in Melbourne at the time, but was being underutilised and needed the work, so in Australia, Cortina wagons were actually built by Renault Australia. |
