Description

An absolute minter - this must be worth as much or more than the Celica from a couple of days ago?

The information sheet in the window tells me that this car was sold new by Molyneux Motors in Alexandra, Central Otago on 4th April 1975 to an elderly man who owned it there for many years, the dry climate of the region preserving the car tremendously. Sadly I can't remember how long it said he owned it for or how much the owner was asking for it, though I suspect five figures...

Molyneux Motors, who sold Hillman, Chrysler and Mitsubishi at the time, are still operating today, though just as a garage now albeit one still with a speciality in Mitsubishi parts and servicing. Zoom in on the image and behind the red L200 pickup is something unusual - perhaps a Galant 1850 coupe?
