Description

The 2nd generation Firebird (1970-81) got a facelift in 1974 with a 'shovel' nose. A wrap around back window was added in 1975 and the turn signals were moved from the lower valance panel into the grille. In 1976 the bumpers were more angular. 1977 saw the new quad rectangular headlight look with a slant nose. the 455 cu in now dropped. The Formula was a model in between the base Firebird and the top Trans Am, it got the hood scoops and a console.
