Lincoln was an upmarket division of the Ford Motor Company, the Continental was its top model, it replaced the Capri/Premier in 1939.The Mk V, (built from 1977-79), like the Mk III and IV, got the Rolls Royce style grille, covered headlamps and spare tyre hump. The Mk V got sharper edged styling, the grille dropped down behind the bumper. Engines; 400 or 460 cu in V8s |
