Description

These were hugely popular in Australia, where production continued on until 1986.

The Datsun badge was still used on Bluebirds here until 1983, where most other markets had swapped over to the Nissan badge in 1981.

Due to the '910' Series being so popular here, the replacement, the 'U11' Series in 1983, never made it here and so when it was time to replace the 910 Bluebird, Nissan Australia moved to the 'R31' Series Nissan Pintara (Skyline) sedan and wagon in 1986.

The 'R31' Series would then be replaced by the 'U12' Series Nissan Pintara in 1989, also sold as the Nissan Bluebird or Nissan Stanza, depending on what market it was sold in.
