Auch unter diesen winterlichen Bedingungen, die in der Oberrheinebene nicht so häufig auftraten, war die Bahn ein Ausbund an Zuverlässigkeit. English: An epitome of elegance and dependability: In a particularly harsh and persisitent winter, DB-class 103 160-8 is pulling an intercity train into Offenburg, track 3, in February 1986. The scheduled halt is only two minutes, before the service continues its 752 kilometre journey northwards, calling at Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Frankfurt, Fulda, Göttingen, Hannover, Hamburg HBf and Hamburg-Dammtor before terminating at Hamburg-Altona after an eight-hour-ride. |
