Description
Deutsch: Am 2. Juni 1991 wurde ein neues und wesentlich dichteres Fahrplankonzept auf der Linken Rheinstrecke eingeführt, es beruhte auf Überholungen zwischen Nah- und Fernverkehrszügen in allen Knotenbahnhöfen. Da in Bonn Hbf zu diesem Zeitpunkt für Fahrten nach Norden regulär nur Gleis 1 verfügbar war, wurde provisorisch ein abseits gelegenes Gleis 9 Süd mit Holzbahnsteig errichtet, an welchem die Nahverkehrs- und Eilzüge in Richtung Köln hielten, während IC und IR auf Gleis 1 verkehrten. Am 26. Oktober 1992 waren die Erweiterungen der Gleisanlagen abgeschlossen, so dass von da an die Nahverkehrszüge nach Norden von Gleis 2 verkehrten und Gleis 9 Süd samt Weichen und Behelfsbahnsteig anschließend wieder abgebaut wurde. Das Foto zeigt Zug E 3520 Koblenz - Köln (werktags außer samstags weiter bis Wuppertal-Oberbarmen), welcher am 2. Dezember 1991 pünktlich um 10.03 Uhr auf dem Bonner Gleis 9 Süd eingetroffen ist, fotografiert vom südlichen Ende des Bahnsteigs 1, auf welchem gelbe Pfeile den Weg nach Gleis 9 Süd wiesen. Der abgebildete Eilzug wurde dort von IC 618 "Gutenberg" (Stuttgart - Münster) überholt (Bonn planmäßig an 10.07, ab 10.09). Solche Überholungen fanden zweimal pro Stunde statt. Rechts neben dem Eilzug verlaufen die beiden Hauptgleise der Rheinstrecke in Richtung Koblenz.
