| Description | These Montegos have become really rather rare, in my area at least. There is one other on a personalised plate which I always see when on the move. This one looked nice, and is the first I've seen for about five years, bar the aforementioned one. It has all the hallmarks of OAP ownership- the bungalow, the Help for Heroes sticker, and the original condition of it. The car next to it was a brand new 63 plate Renault Captur, making an interesting contrast with this. It's also rare now to see a petrol Montego- diesels seem to be the best survivors, due to the good engines. That's probably why this one is one of just 15 LXIs on the roads currently. |
