Summary

English: This concrete block was where the scientists from Los Alamos assembled the Atomic bombs that were later dropped onto Japan. The building that surrounded this concrete platform was shipped in by train and constructed around this platform and when the assembly was completed the entire building was disassembled and shipped back to Los Alamos laboratory by freight train. This platform was out in the middle of nowhere and was kept as secretive as possible leading up to the days when the bombs were dropped. This decaying concrete platform was left at the site and is showing it's damage from the sun over the decades since it was used.
