Description
English: 1st Lt. William D. Coney poses before his flight from the West to the East March 1921. Lieutenant Coney got away from Rockwell Field on schedule but motor trouble brought him down in Texas. He therefore took 2 days, 9 hours, and 24 minutes to cross the continent and arriving at Jacksonville, Florida, but his flying time was a record 22 hours and 27 minutes.
