Summary
editDescription1 Royal Avenue, Belfast (1) - geograph.org.uk - 438929.jpg |
English: 1 Royal Avenue, Belfast (1)
The former Provincial (later Allied Irish and, later still, First Trust) Bank was built in 1864/69. The inside is full of extravagant plasterwork and statuettes. The outside too is well adorned. It fell victim to the rationalisation of branches and is now a supermarket. It is a listed building and has retained its features. This is one of the heads facing Royal Avenue. |
