| Description |
English: 1 to 5 Market Street, Brighouse A large block between Park Street and market Street was redeveloped in the 1930s. This included a Woolworth's store, facing Commercial street but with its side entrance at the right-hand end of the row in this view. Then three shops Nos. 1 to 5 with what could be called a debased pediment on the parapet in the centre. On the corner at the left-hand end is 35 Commercial Street. This frontage is slightly curved in plan. |
