Summary edit

Description

This is probably taken in France. The loco has a makers plate which might be 'Belfort'.

This photo was taken from an old original photo we came across while helping to clear the house of a deceased friend. I have uploaded it to Flickr in the hope that it might be interesting to steam enthusiasts.

Locomotive is Chemin de fer de l’Ouest 137, a ‘Bicyclette’ 2-4-0T built by SACM (#3684 of 1884); later Chemin de fe de l’État 21-712 (after 1909); withdrawn 1924.
