Description
Deutsch: 02.04.2004 01809 Borthen (Dohna), Kleinborthener Straße: Auf einem Bergsporn südlich von Dresden liegt das Rittergut Borthen mit einem alten und einem neuen Schloß. In die Mauer, die den Schloßgarten nach Nordosten begrenzt, ist ein Lusthaus (GMP: 50.972325,13.795736 ) eingefügt, vermutlich aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts, heute bewohnt. Sicht von Nordosten. Rechts dahinter das neue Schloß (GMP: 50.972772,13.794724). Es geht auf einen älteren Bau aus dem 17. Jahrhundert zurück, der um 1700 unter Abraham von Schönberg und Eleonore von Ende erneuert und erweitert wurde. Weiter unten (ganz rechts im Bild, GMP: 50.073008,13.794637) steht ein Wirtschaftsgebäude aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Das Rittergut gehörte bis 1945 den Grafen von Wallwitz. In der DDR war es zunächst Schule für den Demokratischen Frauenbund, danach wurde es für die Landwirtschaft genutzt. 1974 schlossen sich umliegende LPG zur LPG Obstbau Borthen zusammen. 1999 ging das Schloßareal an die Schloß Borthen GmbH, um dort hochwertige Wohnungen einzurichten.
