Description
Deutsch: 27.06.2004 17429 Pudagla (Usedom), Schloßstraße 8-9: Schloß (GMP: 53.969051,14.067320). Herzog Ernst Ludwig zu Stettin-Pommern ließ 1574 an der Stelle des ehemaligen Klosters ein schloßartiges Gebäude für seine Mutter, die Herzogin Maria von Sachsen, errichten. Als Fundament für den Bau dienten vermutlich die Grundmauern und das Kellergewölbe des ehemaligen Klosters Pudagla. Das segmentbogige Hauptportal im Süden (Straßenseite) ist von Pilastern gerahmt. Oberhalb des Portals befindet sich ein hochrechteckiges Relief mit dem Wappen Pommerns und einer Inschriftentafel. Das Gebäude wird heute als Wohnhaus genutzt, im Erdgeschoß ist eine Gaststätte.
