Description
Deutsch: 13.09.2004 Dresden, Straßburger Platz: Abriß der Vielgeschosser Marschnerstraße / Straßburger Platz. Die 10-geschossigen Plattenbauten vom Typ IW 67 der östlichen Platzrandbebauung des ehemaligen Fucikplatzes (postalisch Marschnerstraße) sind 1977/78 nach Plänen der Architekten Heinz Michalk, Jörg Bösche, Bernhard Redlich, Peter Wittisch und Ehrenfried Kubin erbaut worden. Der nach Süden (hier rechts) zur Stübelallee liegende Teil der Gesamtbebauung (GMP: 51.046330,13.756530) wird hier gerade abgerissen. Grundlage ist der Beschluß des Dresdner Stadtrates von 2002, bis zum Jahre 2010 siebentausend Wohnungen abzureißen. Die Bundesregierung beschloß 2001 das mit 2,5 Milliarden Euro dotierte Programm "Stadtumbau Ost", das den Abriß von 350 000 Wohnungen vorsah. Am 17. Juni 2009 hat der Bundestag - neben den 350 000 Wohnungen, deren Abriß bis 2009 geplant war - nochmals die Vernichtung weiterer 200 000 bis 250 000 Wohnungen beschlossen Für diese Abrisse waren 1,5 Milliarden Euro eingeplant, also zusammen 4 Milliarden Euro.
