Deutsch: 24.07.2005 01825 Liebstadt: Schloß Kuckuckstein (GMP: 50.863488,13.858282). Die Burg soll schon 930 unter Heinrich I. als Grenzfeste gegründet worden sein. 1410 erste
urkundliche Erwähnung. Die Herrschaft Liebstadt war bis zur Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts in der Hand der Herren von Bünau. 1774 ersteigerte Hans Carl August von Carlowitz die Herrschaft Liebstadt. Unter seinem Sohn Carl Adolf von Carlowitz bekam das Schloß seine heutige Gestalt. Die Brüder Carlowitz machte das Schloß zum Hauptsitz der sächsischen Freimaurerloge. Carl Adolf von Carlowitz war Mitglied der Dresdner Freimaurerloge "Zu den drei Schwertern". In seinem Schloss richtete er 1805 eine eigene Freimaurerloge ein, in der er private "Logenkränzchen" abhielt. In der DDR Volkseigentum und für Wohnungen genutzt. 1954 wurde ein Museum eingerichtet. 2006 hat der Stadtrat von Liebstadt Schloß Kuckuckstein an eine Privatperson verkauft. Der Gewölberaum im zweiten Geschoss des Tafelhauses ist mit Laubwerk, freimaurerischen Symbolen und geheimnisvollen Sternenkonstellationen ausgemalt. [DSCN7050.TIF]20050724030DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
