Description
English: Post Medieval silver seal matrix, hexagonally facetted conical handle, double-collared trefoil terminal with broken chain loop. Oval, 13 x 11mm, damaged outside edge. A lion rampant within incised line and beaded border.

16th - 17th century.

In terms of age and precious metal content this matrix qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
