| Description |
English: MD 186 (Brookville Road) at Taylor Street, Chevy Chase / Martin's Additions, MD, USA. Due to conflicts between existing draingage systems and what would be the necessary location of the pedestrian ramp, the crosswalk does not make use of the curb extension. Due to sight distance blockages because of other objects along the side of the roadway, the stop sign is located several meters prior to the stop bar. Parking extends through the crosswalk, indicating the motorists may park on or immediately beside the crosswalk, whereas state law prohibits parking on or in the immediate vicinity of a marked crosswalk. |
