Deutsch: 04.11.2007 04808 Voigtshain (Lossatal), Alte Hauptstraße 12: Rittergut, Herrenhaus Voigtshain (GMP: 51.409379,12.863993). Voigtshain war ursprünglich Lehen der Bischöfe von Meißen. 1772 kaufte August Gottfried Heßling das Rittergut. Dieser wurde 1792 in den Adelsstand erhoben. Das barocke Herrenhaus geht auf ihn zurück. Wie eine Jahreszahl im Schlußstein des gartenseitigen Portals mitteilt, wurde es 1775 errichtet. Das verschlungene Monogramm AGH bezieht sich auf den damals noch nicht geadelten Rittergutsbesitzer. 1884 erwarb Adolf von Schönberg das Rittergut. Karl-Friedrich Freiherr von Schönberg verkaufte Voigtshain 1932 an den Pächter Curt Rahn, der 1945 enteignet wurde. In der DDR diente das Herrenhaus als Sitz der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft (LPG). 2007 ging das Schößchen als Hochzeitsgeschenk an die Familie Fairhurst-Menuhin. Ansicht Parkseite.
