Description

The BF Falcon was built from Oct 2005- Feb 2008. Visually the BF was only a minor facelift on the BA, but a much more refined car quieter, smoother and more power. Models available; XT; 4.0 6 cyl (V8 option), man (auto option) air con Futura; body coloured mirrors, cruise control, alloys Fairmont; traction control, cruise control, chrome grille surround Fairmont Ghia; as above plus leather, woodgrain and LCD screen XR6; Sports interior, running gear and body work. Turbo option. XR8; as above but V8 version The ute was available in XL, XLS, RTV, XR6 and XR8. FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) again built performance cars for Ford. The BF FPVs received a new body kit and new wheels. Models available; GT, GT-P, F6 Typhoon, Limited Edition 40th anniversary and Cobra sedans, Pursuit and Tornado Utes. Engines; 190kw 4.0 6, 245kw turbocharged 4.0 6, 220 and 260kw 5.4 V8 (302kw Cobra). The 2006 BF Mk II saw a new grille and headlights on the non XR models. From 2007, the XRs got a special body kit with grey inserts on the bumpers and skirts

The wagon and Fairlane were not available in the FG range so the BF (Mk III) continued on into the FG range until 2010.
