Почтовые правила 1992 года, ст. 27 (международный документ, принятый РСС - Региональным сотрудничеством связи, в состав которого вошли республики б. СССР): "В качестве знаков почтовой оплаты применяются почтовые марки (в том числе беззубцовые и блоки), маркированные конверты, маркированные почтовые карточки и оттиски маркировальных машин".
