Description
Deutsch: Am 13. August 2002 wurde die Strecke – wie schon 1897 – bei einem Hochwasser schwer beschädigt. Im Rabenauer Grund zwischen Freital-Coßmannsdorf und Spechtritz waren Gleise und Brücke weitgehend zerstört. Zwischen Buschmühle und Kurort Kipsdorf hatte das Hochwasser den Bahnkörper abschnittsweise vollständig weggespült. Am 29. Oktober 2007 begannen im Bahnhof Rabenau die Arbeiten zum Wiederaufbau des Streckenabschnittes Freital-Hainsberg–Dippoldiswalde. Am 13.12.2008 fand die Wiedereröffnung der Strecke statt. Der planmäßige Zugverkehr zwischen Freital-Hainsberg und Dippoldiswalde wurde zum Fahrplanwechsel am 14. Dezember 2008 wieder aufgenommen. Der Eröffnungszug wurde von 99 1771-7 und 99 1746-9 gezogen.
