English: The station of Halanzy, on the Belgian Railway line 165, as seen after a full facelift in 2009. Trains have not stopped there between 1984 and 2007. Station is reopened based on local lobbying for better public transport link with the nearby Luxembourgish labour area.
Français : La gare de Halanzy, le long de la ligne de chemin de fer Belge 165. Cette gare a subi une rénovation intégrale.
Le bâtiment à été acquis par la commune pour en faire une maison des associations et une antenne locale de police. Les quais ont été reconstruit en 2007, après une longue période d'inactivité débutée en 1984 (plan IC-IR de la SNCB). Les raisons de la réouverture sont à trouver dans un important lobbying d'associations locales désireuses de disposer d'une offre de transport en commun performante vers le bassin d'emploi Luxembourgeois. |
