Deutsch: 10.07.2009 01257 Dresden-Leuben: 14-gesch. Hochhaus (GMP: 51.012428,13.823080) Zamenhofstraße 2 / Ecke Rottwerndorfer Str. / Ecke Pirnaer Landstraße. Der Großvermieter Gagfah bereitet derzeit den Abriss des intakten DDR-Plattenbaus mit 87 Wohnungen vor. Im Herbst 2009 wird er verschwunden sein. Grundlage ist der Beschluß des Dresdner Stadtrates von 2002, bis zum Jahre 2010
siebentausend Wohnungen abzureißen. Die Bundesregierung beschloß 2001 das mit 2,5 Milliarden Euro dotierte Programm "Stadtumbau Ost", das den Abriß von 350 000 Wohnungen vorsah. Am 17. Juni 2009 hat der Bundestag - neben den 350 000 Wohnungen, deren Abriß bis 2009 geplant war - nochmals die Vernichtung weiterer 200 000 bis 250 000 Wohnungen beschlossen Für diese Abrisse waren 1,5 Milliarden Euro eingeplant.
