Accession 2011-173-211 Commemorative Pin Admiral Robley Evans 2.5" W x 2"H

Pin was a souvenir from the Great White Fleet Cruise. Evans had been troubled throughout his adult life with a battle wound sustained in the Civil War. He was forced to retire from the Great White Fleet Cruise due to ill health in 1908. This pin is a good example of souvenirs' produced to celebrate the cruise.
