Description

Accession: 2012-14-1 Pitcher, Ice Water, Double Walled Silver 11.5" H x 6" DIA

The pitcher was made by the company Reed and Barton, Silversmiths in Taunton Massachusetts, and is dated between 1854 and 1900. The pitcher is marked with four stars which would mean it was made for Admiral Farragut in 1866, Admiral David Porter in 1870, or Admiral Dewey in 1899. The pitcher has an identification number of 33698 with a letter "v" on its base. The pitcher is double walled for insulation and has an enamel interior.
