日本語: 平成２４年１１月７日、野田佳彦内閣総理大臣は総理大臣官邸で、吉田沙保里さんに対する国民栄誉賞の表彰式を行い、表彰状、盾及び記念品を授与しました。
これは、吉田沙保里さんが、日々の修練、努力の積み重ねによって、世界選手権大会、オリンピック競技大会を通じて、世界大会１３連覇という、レスリング競技史上、前人未到の偉業を成し遂げられるとともに、女性スポーツのフロンティアを開拓し、多くの国民に深い感動と社会に明るい希望、勇気を与えることに顕著な業績があったことについて、栄誉を讃えるものです。 国民栄誉賞は、広く国民に敬愛され、社会に明るい希望を与えることに顕著な業績があったものについて、その栄誉を讃えることを目的として、昭和５２年８月に創設されています。 |
