Summary edit

Description
English: Two 1 Regiment Army Air Corps Lynx AH.7 over the Teutoburger Wald close to Bielefeld on their way back to their home base, the Princess Royal Barracks Gütersloh: When the picture was taken these two aircraft represented 50% of Britain’s air power based on the European continent. In the twilight of British military aviation activities in Germany the size of the regiment’s Lynx fleet was reduced steadily. The last four British military aircraft, which once consisted of a few hundred fighters, bombers and helicopters, left Germany on October 4th 2013, closing 68 years of presence on the continent.
