Deutsch: Aufgrund der Anfang August 2014 durch die ISIS-Extremisten eroberten Gebiete im Nord-irakischen Gebiet Sinjar waren etwa 200000 Eziden sowie andere religiöse Minderheiten in der Autonomen Region Kurdistan rund um Mossul auf der Flucht. Die Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker sowie die Ezidische Akademie in Hannover befürchteteten einen humane Katastrophe und einen neuen Völkermord an den Mitgliedern ihrer und anderer Glaubensgemeinschaften. Am 5. August 2014 luden sie zu einer Pressekonferenz, in der Vertreter des öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten sowie der Tagespresse erschienen ...
