Deutsch: 18.08.2014 01734 Oelsa (Rabenau): Martersäule = Theler-Säule (GMP: 50.940479,13.655169). Die Sage erzählt: Konrad von Theler, einer aus dem alten Geschlecht der Theler, die in Ruppendorf und Höckendorf zu Hause waren, erschlug im Zorn den Pfarrer in Höckendorf. Zur Buße für diese Zornestat wallfahrte er nach Jerusalem. Als er wieder die Heimat betrat, errichtete er statt der damals üblichen Sühnekreuze Betsäulen. Eine der Thelerschen Betsäulen steht auf der höchsten Erhebung zwischen Ölsa und Seifersdorf. Sie ist auf der Generalstabskarte mit "Martersäule" bezeichnet. Diese Betsäule ist unter allen Vorhandenen die einzige, die nicht nur ihren alten Platz, sondern auch ihre alte Bestimmung bis heute, also über 580 Jahre hinweg behalten hat.
