This is the last of a month-long seminar series. Three co-op leaders discuss challenges/opportunities for cooperative development in communities of color. Facilitating the seminar is USDA RD Community and Economic Division Acting Director Claudette Fernandez. Opening speaker is USDA RD Under Secretary Lisa Mensah. USDA RD Civil Rights Program Compliance Branch Chief Sharese C. Paylor spoke on behalf of USDA RD Civil Rights Director Angela Denton. Other speakers and panelists include Community Purchasing Alliance Outreach Associate Laura Pyatt and California Center for Cooperative Developmentâs Mai Nguyen.
