Description

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue, center, steps to the the Twin-Otter aircraft that will take four smokejumpers to 3,000 feet for a recurring proficiency jump, at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) Great Basin Smokejumpers facility, in the Boise, Idaho, on June 2, 2017. Smokejumpers wear a padded flame-retardant jumpsuit to protect them from injury when parachuting through a tree canopy.
