Description
Deutsch: Unter dem Motto

„Innovationen leben - Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft für morgen!“

veranstaltete die Leibniz Universität Hannover gemeinsam mit den Unternehmerverbänden Niedersachsen (UVN) im Lichthof des ehemaligen Welfenschlosses am 11. April 2018 den Wirtschaftsempfang 2018. Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung verlieh Universitätspräsident Volker Epping der emeritierten Professorin Ursula Hansen aus dem aus dem ehemaligen Fachbereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften die Ehrenbürgerwürde der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Auf der Veranstaltung sprachen außerdem der niedersächsische Minister für Wissenschaft und Kultur Björn Thümler sowie der Präsident der Unternehmerverbände Niedersachsen, Werner M. Bahlsen. Zudem wurden erstmals Wirtschaftspreise der Deloitte GmbH und der Kanzlei Schickerling von Bismarck verliehen. Preisträger waren Alexandra Lilge (M.Sc.) und Janine K. Jarzembski (M.Sc.). Dr. Christoph Sorge erhielt den Wirtschaftspreis Recht.

Der Wirtschaftsempfang 2018 wurde von der Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge, der Continental AG, der Beratungsgesellschaft Ebner Stolz Mönning Bachem sowie der Johnson Controls Autobatterie GmbH & Co. KGaA gesponsort.
