Description
日本語: 北陸地方で大雪となった2018年2月5日(UTC)の日本海周辺の衛星画像。寒気が流れ込み筋状雲が発達している。日本海北東部には低気圧の雲が渦を巻く一方、長白山脈から南東の鬱陵島、隠岐諸島、北陸地方にかけて日本海寒帯気団収束帯(JPCZ)の濃い雲の帯が伸びている。

人工衛星AquaのMODISセンサ観測データをトゥルーカラー(True-color)補正したもの。

※JPCZに対応する雲である旨は "饒村曜「日本海寒帯気団収束帯（JPCZ）がかかっている場所は要警戒」、Yahoo!ニュース 個人記事、2018-02-06 5:00(JTC)配信、2019-01-23(JTC)閲覧" による。
English: Satellite Image around the Sea of Japan in 2018-02-05(UTC), heavy snowy day in Japan Hokuriku region. In a image, streaky convective clouds cover the sea, cyclone vortex is in northeast, and a band of dence convergence cloud of JPCZ(Japan sea Polar air mass Convergence Zone) extend from Changbai Mountains, Ulleungdo, [[:en]Oki Islands|Oki Islands]] to Hokuriku region.
