Summary edit

Description SpaceX Falcon 9, launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, carrying 64 satellites for various clients in Spaceflight's Smallsat Express program. In this series of shots, all highly compressed to make what's going on visible, the first stage breaks away and begins its return to a pad floating on the Pacific below. And it's doing that amidst its own exhaust. Again, I guessed at where this was in the sky, and I'm glad the camera caught it.
