Deutsch: An dieser unscheinbaren Stelle im Wald zwischen Fernwald-Albach und Lich befand sich im Kalten Krieg ein US-Atomwaffendepot mit nuklearen Sprengköpfen für die Nike-Feuerstellung Albach. Das Depot war zweifach umzäunt, mit Videokameras versehen und wurde rund um die Uhr scharf bewacht: im Innern von der US-Army und im Außenbereich von zivilen Angestellten der Bundesluftwaffe mit Schäferhunden. Nachts erhellten starke Scheinwerfer die Umgebung der Zäune. Nach der Aufgabe des Depots lag es lange brach. Schließlich wurde alles abgerissen, der Bereich renaturiert und wiederaufgeforstet. Zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme konnte man im Satellitenbild von Google-Maps noch das damalige Wegenetz im aufgeforsteten Wald erkennen, was auch auf diesem Foto zu erahnen ist.
