English: Interior view of a garden pavilion (1736) on the grounds of the villa La Grande Suisse (or: Villa Kanjel) in Maastricht-Mariënwaard, Netherlands. The villa was built around 1735 and enlarged with two towers around 1865. From 1875 until 1954 it was used as a Franciscan nunnery. In 2018 plans were approved to renovate the derelict building for use as a crematorium. Little remains of the extensive gardens which have been largely taken up by a school and an institution for children with special needs.
