Description
Deutsch: Sonnenuhr im Birlinghovener Wald, Stadtgebiet Sankt Augustin; Das Original der Replik, das auch auf dem Platz im Wald gestanden hat, befindet sich im Haus Lauterbach in Birlinghoven. Das Original, auch unter dem Namen Sonnen-Monument bekannt, wurde von dem ehemaligen Schlossherrn Geheimrat Louis Hagen um 1920 erworben und stammt, nach Schätzung von Experten, aus der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts. Es wurde 1932 eingelagert und später durch die heutige Replik ersetzt.[1]
