English: De Havilland Vampire/DH.100 :
The De Havilland Vampire/DH.100 was a series of British single-seat, single-engine fighter powered by a turbojet engine. De Havilland Vampire Night Fighter (Mark 10/54 or NF.10/NF.54) : De Havilland also developed a two-seat version of the Vampire for the RAF powered by Goblin power plant in the late 1940s. It was designated the "Vampire Night Fighter Mark 10" (NF.10). De Havilland built an export variant of the NF.10 designated the "Vampire NF.54". 18 NF.54 night fighters, refurbished from British stocks, were obtained by the Indian Air Force in 1954, followed by 12 more in 1957/58. These were formally phased out from the IAF in 1975. The actual decommissioned De Havilland Vampire DH100 NF.54 'ID-606' is preserved and on display at the Indian Air Force Museum, Palam, New Delhi, India. National Military Memorial, Bengaluru : The National Military Memorial Park (NMM Park) is a tribute to honour the men and families of martyrs of the Indian Armed Forces, who have died in the service of the nation.
