Das BMKÖS unterstützt die Aktion "positiv arbeiten" für "Respekt und Selbstverständlichkeit" für einen diskriminierungsfreien Umgang mit HIV-positiven Menschen im Arbeitsleben. Vizekanzler Kogler: "Heutzutage ist die Diagnose HIV kein Todesurteil mehr. Dennoch haben Menschen, die mit der Diagnose leben, mit Vorurteilen und gesellschaftlicher Ausgrenzung zu kämpfen - etwa am Arbeitsplatz. Meine Solidarität gilt allen Betroffenen - ihnen möchte ich am Welt-AIDS-Tag klar sagen: "Wir stehen hinter euch".
