闽台历史文化研究院3月27日在福州召开连横《台湾通史》转译白话文项目专家论证会，正式启动连横《台湾通史》转译白话文项目。该项目由闽台历史文化研究院牵头，厦门大学、台湾大学、福建师范大学、台湾师范大学等闽台两地多所高校专家学者共同参与。 《台湾通史》为台湾第一部通史著作，也是历史学家连横一生最重要的著作之一。1920年11月至1921年4月《台湾通史》分上、中、下3册在台湾出版，全书分为纪4篇、志24篇、传60篇，共88篇36卷，约有60万字，另附表目101项，第一次对台湾历史作了全面系统的总结。 专家学者认为，连横《台湾通史》详细论述了台湾同胞和中华民族一脉相承的关系，第一版《台湾通史》出版发行迄今100年，百年间台湾社会经历了巨大变迁，因此，开展白话文转译编写工作十分重要、非常必要。 采访中，不少专家学者亦表示，在转译工作中，要致力于让《台湾通史》白话文版更加通俗易懂。 |
