Description
Deutsch: Der weiß verputzte und teils mit blauen Keramikkacheln verkleidete Gebäudekomplex Gerhardtstraße 3-5 entstand ursprünglich auf dem Grundstück, das in der Nachkriegszeit ab 1947 für den Gartencenter-Gründer Hans Meisert als gleichnamiges, in der Bevölkerung als Samen-Meisert bekanntes Unternehmen diente.[1] Beim Bau des Gebäudes waren ursprünglich die Hausnummern 21-24 vergeben worden, bevor sie Anfang der 1960er Jahre ihre heutigen Nummern erhielten. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war die Gastwirtin Anna Wucherpfennig Eigentümerin des heute mit einem Glastürmchen (siehe das Foto) versehenen Eckgebäudes zu Kornstraße, Gerhardtstraße 5.[2] Mitte der 1970er Jahre hatte das Dienstleistungsunternehmen Plural unter der Adresse Gerhardtstraße 3 seinen Sitz;[3] der Name "PLURAL" findet sich noch heute (Stand: 2. Mai 2021) auf der Bodenplatte am Eingang zur Hausnummer 3.
