Description

Teaterregissören Staffan Valdemar Holm fotograferad utanför Hipp i Malmö den 26 juni 2021, en plats där han har många minnen. Han är teaterregissör och var teaterchef för Malmö Dramatiska Teater under perioden 1993–99. Staffan Valdemar Holm blev första teaterchef för nybildade Malmö Dramatiska Teater. I januari 1994 invigdes teaterns nya huvudscen, Hipp, i lokaler med en bakgrund från 1899 som Etablissemanget Hippodromen med cirkus, restaurang, festsal mm. Under en lång rad av år, innan teatern tog över byggnaden, fungerade Hipp som kyrka för Pingstkyrkans Elimförsamling i Malmö. Under 2008 återtog Malmö Dramatiska Teater det tidigare namnet Malmö Stadsteater men nu endast omfattande den dramatiska ensemblens verksamhet.
