Deutsch: Cartagena ist eine Stadt mit Seehafen im Südosten Spaniens. Sie hat 214.802 Einwohner (Stand: 1. Januar 2019) und ist damit die zweitgrößte Stadt der Region Murcia. Cartagena liegt an einer tiefen Bucht der Costa Cálida („Warme Küste“) direkt am Mittelmeer und ist einer der bedeutendsten Handelshäfen Spaniens und die größte Marinebasis am Mittelmeer. Die Stadt ist Sitz des Parlaments der Region Murcia sowie Bischofssitz.
