| Description | Goldbachschleife am Fluss Pfreimd, am oberen Bildrand Böhmischbruck; Stadt Vohenstrauß, Landkreis Neustadt an der Waldnaab, Oberpfalz, Bayern: Die Goldbachschleife liegt oberhalb des rechtsseitig einmündenden Goldbachs, der südlich von Vohenstrauß entspringt und in den Fluss Pfreimd mündet. Joseph und Jakob Hanauer gründeten im Jahre 1885 die Spiegel- und Flachglasschleiferei mit Polierwerkstätte, zu deren Betrieb die Wasserkraft der Pfreimd genutzt wurde. Die Goldbachschleife war lange Zeit ein in der Region bekanntes Ausflugsziel. Im Jahre 1966 stellten die Besitzer den Betrieb ein. Die Goldbachschleife befindet sich in Privatbesitz, eine Flussquerung ist hier nicht möglich. Die Wasserkraft wird nach wie vor zur Energiegewinnung genutzt. |
