Description
English: Heritage Square, located between East Monroe, East Adams, North 6th and North 7th Streets in downtown Phoenix, Arizona is a historic site anchored by the Rosson House on the last remaining residential block of the original site of the town of Phoenix. In 1996 the Arizona Science Center and the Phoenix Museum of History moved next to the site, and the combined entity became "Heritage and Science Park". The majority of Heritage Square was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 under the name "Phoenix Townsite".

The Stevens House, also known as the Stevens Bungalow and The Bungalow, at 602-604 East Adams Street, was built in 1901 by Constance Stevens as a rental property. The lot had been bought by Mary V. Hughes in 1897 when the Rosson House property was sub-divided, and she sold it to Stevens in 1900. The firm of Akers and Tritle bought the Victorian cottage in 1904, and by 1918 it was owned by Anna and Marguerite Haustgen. It is current the location of the Museum Store for Heritage Square.
